Searching the web for short video clips related to this bog, I came across a short video on YouTube by documentary filmmaker Melissa Eidson. Eidson has made a documentary called “The Women of Chiapas“, profiling and interviewing women in from the troubled Mexican province. Here’s a short preview of the movie, showing clips of women talking about the Grameen-inspired (providing loans and credit to the poorest of the poor) micro-financing that has helped them obtained funding for garments, nutrition, and in the words of one of the interviewees, “so they can have the keys to real social development“.
